Good Morning Locavores,
The Market is open and ready for your locavation.
In our vegetable section: TONS of greens. Arugula, Lettuces, Braising Greens, Kale, Spinach, Chard. I hope some of you drink green smoothies, because this aisle is alive with leaves. And for those of you who love a good salad, here’s my formula: spring mix + arugula + Kent Walker’s cheese + roasted root vegetables.
In our plant section: well, let me just say… Lots of plants. Seedlings. Trees. Bushes. ABC Nature Greenhouse has every culinary plant you could dream of: tomatoes, peppers, heirloom leeks. A veritable edible forest.
In our meat section: grass-fed lamb of every cut, beef liver specials (yum!) and some buffalo brisket specials!
Last but not least, in our delicious homemade pies section? Delicious homemade pies! Coconut, peanut butter, apple cake.
